Library

The community wanted to set up a library for children and youth so they could access books for school work and pleasure. The public school system doesn’t have funds to provide any textbooks for students.

Carroll’s Children Helping Children Club raised over $3000 to establish this library in Santa Rosa del Peñon in 2003. It will be moved from this temporary location to the new Community Education Centre. The library sells some school supplies to help sustain the operating costs.
